Those who knew Skinny Vinny would be shocked to see his physique these days! Look out for the next class reunion because Vince Delmonte will likely get the "most changed" votes!

There is a reason Vince Delmonte's No Nonsense body building programs are such a hit and why they work for so many different types of people. His struggle to overcome his body type led him to develop a program that can help virtually anyone transform their body.

I'm on Day 17 of My HCG Diet

It's day 17 and I'm still moving forward with the weight loss from HCG Diet Direct's homeopathic weight loss program. I was flipping through some of the diet reviews online and found some diet pill reviews mixed in with the HCG referrals. It just solidified my argument that the all natural method is the way to go.

So the negative diet pill reviews indicated that some of the popular pills out there have some pretty heavy duty, negative side effects. A lot of the diet pill reviews listed different side effects and health issues that cropped up right away as well as a while later. They made it sound pretty scary. So I immediately forwarded them to my friend, Lisa's, husband. He wasn't an easy sell when it came to Lisa and I starting the diet so I constantly remind him of the advantages of the diet.

If you're wondering who the heck Lisa is then I bet you're new to this article series (or you haven't been paying attention; shame on you!) Lisa is my HCG dieting buddy. I called and talked her into approaching the homeopathic HCG diet with me in the beginning. We started simultaneously and we've got a side bet; the person to lose the most weight gets a pair of jeans courtesy of the loser.

Her husband was not a big supporter initially. He was really quite skeptical. I did eventually talk him around. But I do have to continually support my argument by sending him any further "proof" I find that my opinion is actually the right one on this particular issue. So the negative diet pill reviews were the perfect forward for Lisa's husband. He should never have disagreed with me; I'm rarely wrong.

Anyway...it's day 17 and I'm so excited. But I didn't lose any weight today. Shoot! I'm still at 156. But I'm still doing great. At least I didn't gain any weight, right?

I took my HCG three times and my B-Total once. I'm back to taking it first thing in the morning. It's a good start to the day. I decided to go without Melba Toasts today since I seem to be stuck on a plateau. That's one of the suggested plateau breakers in the protocol book. I grilled a steak at lunch and had a small portion of it and stored the rest (leftovers are fabulous on this diet). I had some strawberries and some green tea with lunch. For dinner I made the chicken asparagus soup. It was really cold so it was the perfect dinner. I had more strawberries for a late night snack. I missed the Melba Toasts, but I managed. We'll see if it worked tomorrow. - 17273

Is it Day 19 Already?

It's Day 19 on my HCG diet. And I'm down another pound. This is just getting more and more exciting. It's like a really fabulous game and I'm totally winning.

This morning I got on the scale a bit later than I normally do. I figure it's alright though because I hadn't eaten anything yet. My daughter was sick in the night so it threw me off my morning schedule.

But I did go down a pound. I'm at 154. That's a total of 17 pounds of weight loss so far. Not bad, right? I'm pretty impressed with the results. I was told that the average weight loss ranged from 1 to 2 pounds of weight loss per day with men experiencing the higher averages. (Isn't that just annoyingly typical?) So far I'm pretty dang close to those fabulous weight loss averages so I'm happy.

I noticed that there are HCG Diet Direct reviews floating about online and I have to say that I'm absolutely going to get on there and leave a one of my own. HCG Diet Direct reviews should be all over the place and they should all be fabulous. I've tried a lot of dieting options and this one is by far the most effective and the most seemingly long lasting one I've ever experienced.

I am getting to be pretty savvy at preparing healthy foods in my own kitchen. I know how to make healthy easy and I know how to make it good. I'm starting to depend on healthy options rather than the easy, but very unhealthy options that are all over the place in our day to day lives. Again, I have green tea throughout the day and at least eight glasses of water.

I do this to stay healthy, to stay away from doctors offices and because it helps me enjoy my life that much more. Making sure my body receives all the nutrients it needs makes an incredible difference in my life, in how I feel and in keeping my body at its best. Day 16! Still on the HCG Diet!

I've got less than 10 days left on the low calorie portion of the HCG diet. That makes Day 16 one of my favorites so far. Here's a quick reminder of the program layout. It started off with 2 days of loading. Loading is eating a whole lot of food with a whole lot of fat content and therefore calories. While loading you start taking your HCG three times daily. It's supposed to increase the ability of the body to absorb the HCG product. After loading you start a 500 calorie per day portion of the diet. I chose to do the program that had me dieting for 23 days, but there are different lengths you can choose from.

After the 23rd day on the very low calorie diet comes the HCG maintenance diet. I'm kind of big on preparation (or some might call it unnecessary torture since I don't really have to worry about this extension of the diet for quite a bit). During the HCG maintenance diet you can eat as much food of any type of food you choose (up to 1500 calories per day). There are, of course, some heft exceptions to this eat anything rule. During the HCG maintenance diet you cannot eat: sugar, dextrose, sucrose, honey, molasses, high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, starch of any kind, artificial sweeteners, fast food, trans fat, and nitrites.

That's a pretty extensive exception, I know. But after the 500 calorie diet it sounds like heaven. I'm so used to limiting myself that the 1500 calorie per day maintenance diet is going to be a breeze; at least that's what I'm hoping. And it helps that the restrictive diet is actually working; seeing your weight drop is fabulous incentive to keep going.

So that's a general recap for you; now let's move on to the details of day 16. I was at 156 this morning when I weighed. That's exactly the same as yesterday which is a bummer because I ate really well yesterday. I decided that I'd add some green tea to today's regimen in response (still don't like it, but it seems to work) and I tried to drink more water.

I'm fine taking the HCG drops three times per day. And I think the B-Total drops are really helpful. I'm thinking of getting online and ordering some more for when these run out.

Now for the eating recap. On day 16's lunch I had a leftover green onion burger and another half of a grapefruit (this one was better than yesterday's). It's weird how some of them are just really sweet and yummy and others just aren't. I had Melba Toasts with lunch, as well. I had the last of the grilled chicken at dinner (more leftovers) and I drank a ton of water. Here's hoping I see weight loss again tomorrow! - 17273

Red meat and chickens products are very high in saturated fats and should also be excluded from your belly fat diet. Your fat intake should be restricted to monounsaturated fats.
