Losing a few pounds before the wedding, can boost every bride's confidence. If you are interested, I would like to offer you some advice to help you attain your goal.

Don't expect to reach your target weight in just a week or so. Just as planning the wedding itself takes time, so does preparing your body. If you don't lose weight in a healthy way, odds are that you will regain the weight relatively quickly.

Pills that claim to help you lose 20 pounds in a week are false hope, expensive and possibly harmful. Weight loss is like marriage; it's a life-time commitment. It wouldn't make sense to lose weight before the wedding and then find yourself gain it all back after the marriage. It is very important that you consider permanent changes to what you eat and how you live, instead of just making short-term alterations.

Wedding planning is stressful enough, don't add to your stress by trying to starve yourelf. Therefore, it is important not to deprive yourself of food. Starvation diets are counter-productive, they will slow down your metabolism and make you hungry and irritable.

The last thing you need while planning a wedding is to be completely without any energy! It can be hard to have regular mealtimes when you're busy, but avoid snacking on the run. Eating healthy meals at regular intervals is much better for you and will keep your energy up.

Now you don't have to deprive yourself the whole time. Allow yourself to indulge on a treat once a week. This is going to up your metabolism so you can eat regular the next day and actually lose weight while eating more food.

Even though you are planning your wedding, you still have time to eat healthily and to exercise. You don't have to work out at the gym every day, you can find your exercise in other ways, too. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. So, your destination is only several blocks? Walk, don't drive. These may take more time, but the results are totally worth it. - 17273
