A Healthy Energy Drink: Can Everybody Take It?

By Julieanne van Zyl

So, do you think it's advisable for just anyone to take a healthy energy drink? Wait - just before you go get another can of Red Bull, you need to think about the health consequences of drinking too many energy drinks in one day. While energy drinks are outstanding energy boosters and can give you instant energy, they are supposed to be taken only as long as you need them.

Energy drinks are very expected these days and it is only usual that once you feel a little low in your energy level, you just go out to get yourself a can of some kind of energy drink. This attitude is not good. Energy drinks contain certain ingredients which when used in the accurate quantities can give you the preferred burst of energy. But it will not last long and in some cases goes away quickly and leaves you with less energy then before.

So when is it better to get energy drinks?

Report and research have both shown that many individuals are in the habit of having energy drinks first thing in the morning -even before their breakfast. Unfortunately, because the side effects are not always immediately apparent, many think they can easily get away with this or just simply believe that there are no side effects.

Therefore, drinking an energy drink first thing in the morning is bound to get you in the hospital in a very short while as you will more likely suffer repeated bouts of dizziness, increased pulse rate -also known as tachycardia- incessant headaches, insomnia and restlessness. A Healthy Energy Drink: Can it Be Taken By Everyone?

Why Are Energy Drinks Causing so Many Side Effects?

The reason for the near instantaneous boost that you get from taking energy drinks is as a result of the high content of both sugar and caffeine. While these are sure components for an increased energy level, they are not exactly the best way to increase your energy levels on a consistent basis. If you have a heart condition or a slight problem with nerves, then caffeine is not meant for you.

The same applies to those who are suffering from diabetes; the sugar content available in these drinks is a definite no-no. So if you have any of these ailments or related ailments regardless of how minute or mild they might be, then energy drinks are not meant for you. Instead, you can increase your water intake and use some other health remedies.

High Energy drinks are common for body builders and physical fitness enthusiasts that use them to build up their stamina and improve their performance while they are training. However, many teenagers take these drinks on a daily basis thus making it liable for their hyperactivity and restlessness.

It is not advisable to have teenagers who are not into high energy sports activities take a high energy drink, otherwise the dangers involved are that the kids become violent and suffer what is known as "toxic jock" syndromes as research has shown. One of the healthy energy drinks which is safe is called the Verve energy drink. - 17273

Reasons for Failed Muscle Building Programs

By Caleb Lee

Muscle building programs are mostly created by weight lifters who have discovered "their way" to building big muscles.

Some of you may have tried several programs and found then to not work.

Here are 4 reasons why the programs may not have worked.

#1: Work as Much as You Can at One Time

By this, I mean you have to be working many muscles at one time. This will give your body benefits of having stability and coordination between muscles. However, muscle building programs like to incorporate machines into their workouts. Workout machines tend to focus on one muscle. This is bad because it will take forever to work many muscles, and you do not develop any real life application. Free weights can help you to work many muscles at once. Doing compound exercises like Squats and dead lifts can benefit you in saving time, working many muscles at once, and also gaining stability and coordination between muscles.

#2: Keep it short

A program developed by the usual gym rat you would see at the gym working out every time you went there would not be a good fit for someone only having an hour to workout. Your workout does not need to be long and strenuous; rather it should be short and sweet. Using fewer reps and sets with a larger amount of weight can give you the best benefits in a short amount of time.

#3: Lift a Significant Amount

Like mentioned before, you need to be using heavy enough weights to work out with. This is the reason why many of the work outs out there don't work, because they are using 50% of your "1 Rep Max" (1RM). You should be using about 80-85% of your 1RM. Anything below and you are never going to see improvements as your body will eventually become use to the work out and somewhat immune to it. This also calls for adding weight every work out in order to keep improving when you are performing your muscle building programs.

#4: More Recuperation During and After Workouts

During and after work outs, resting is important for your muscles to build. Instead of rushing to your next workout to get done faster, plan in more time and rest longer between exercises. This will give your muscles time to refresh and prepare for your next work out and put less strain on them.

When you are done with your workout, make some time to rest and take a nap. You just put your body through hard work and now it needs time to cool down and rebuild. At night, make sure you are achieving 8+ hours of sleep, if possible. Relax anytime during the day and make sure to keep a low stress environment, which is best for fast muscle growth.

What You Need To Know About Gourmet House Seasonings

By Ferdinand Okeke

We will first of all define Gourmet seasonings. First what does gourmet mean? prior to talking about gourmet seasoning you must not forget that the discussion will be based on three aspects: the interpretations of the word gourmet, the Gourmet food or seasoning firms, and the gourmet seasoning products provided by the Gourmet firms. According to various dictionaries, as well as the Wikipedia encyclopedia, gourmet is a cultural ideal, which is generally associated with gastronomy, the culinary arts of exquisite fine food and drink. Although the term might be perceived as negative as it is usually linked with elitism or snobbery, it actually has the positive meaning which describes people with refined tastes and passion.

The term gourmet is applied to the person who has refined or discriminating taste or is well grounded in the art of food and food preparation. It also refers to a particular type of restaurant, cheer, special presentation of the food, high sophistication in the field of gastronomy or a certain type of meal or ingredient of high quality. In the US, Gourmet is an industry classification for high - quality premium foods. Since the 2000s, an accelerating increase in the American gourmet market has taken place, as a result of increasing income, globalization of taste, and health and nutrition concerns in part. Individual food and drinks categories, for example coffee, are often classified as standard and a " gourmet " sub - market.

As aforementioned in the artcle, there are a circle of firms that incorporated the word Gourmet in their name, all to show that their products are of high quality. Thus, if you search in the supermarkets or access websites you will be able to choose the creme de la creme of food or drink products like gourmet seasoning bottles or jars, or some other foods that bear the mark of a certain Gourmet firm. For instance, there are companies or firms or comodities like the Big Fat Jerry's Gourmet Seasoning which, apparently, offer you an array of service or mechanically blended spices. Then finally is the Gourmet House Seasoning.

Gourmet House seasoning is a combination of coarse salt, onion salt, garlic salt, celery salt, paprika, sugar, monosodium glutamate, nutmeg and black pepper. According to these gourmet seasoning producers, their gourmet seasoning comodities offer you the opportunity to experience "a new level of delectability in your meals.

" What you might consider a positive part of the gourmet seasoning products offered by these gourmet companies is that they participate in producing various types of seasonings, among which the ones typical of certain cuisines, national or international, regional or improvised. Besides the lists of products, description / ingredients of the gourmet seasoning products and their prices, producers and traders' websites in addition offer you gourmet seasoning recipes. - 17273

I Asked The Question Is Andy Willouby's 3 Step Program A Scam

By Steve Jankowski

Perhaps you have heard Andy's friendly radio commercial. On it, he asks the question, "how in the world are you anyway" and then launches into his pitch for his three step program. It is a very warm and compelling commercial, and has been on the radio for a while. When I ran my brick and mortar business, I spent money on radio commercials before and they were not cheep. Andy is making money off of those ads or he would not be running them, but what is he selling?

Is Andy Willouby's 3 step program a scam? He is marketing the supplement Xango which is a drink made from the Mangosteen fruit and it is most definitely not a scam. The founders of Xango discovered that the Mangosteen fruit is very high in antioxidants and have marketed it as a healthful drink. Xango also has a new cutting edge skin care line that uses the properties of the Mangosteen fruit.

The Xango business is network marketing business that you can join and then make money if you market the product and business to others. Andy is simply marketing Xango to get new members for his organization. There are many people that have joined Xango and made a lot of money marketing the product. The drink is tasty, but since I have eaten the actual fruit when I was in Thailand, I would prefer to remember the fruit for how it tastes fresh. It is, however, a healthful drink and a very compelling company. It is not a scam and you could make money with it.

Xango has been available for a while though, and I believe that there are more compelling products on the market that someone looking to start a home business can join to make a decent income. There is a limit to how many people can join a company and still make decent money. The juice is, in my opinion, rather expensive. In current recession/depression, the kind of business opportunity you should look for is a business with a strong product that everyone will want and that has not been on the market for more than a couple of years.

Don't get me wrong, the fact that Xango has been on the market for a while means that the company is not going away, which is a good thing. They will not fold up and fail to cut you a check if you have earned one. I do believe though, that if you can find a company that is newer with a compelling product line and that will be large like Xango, your chances of prospering expand exponentially. I almost joined Xango, but I felt like there were already to many large players in the company.

It is a certainty that if you have asked the question, "is Andy Willouby's 3 step program a scam", the answer is it is a resounding NO. I am sure he would love to have you join him in his Xango business, but the chances that you will make enough money to purchase similar radio advertisements from your profits is slim.

I should also add that there are a number of juice products on the market that contain the Mangosteen fruit, and that is somethingthat you should also consider when looking at joining Xango. Many consumers would rather purchase a nutritious drink at their favorite health food store or big box store and pay less, even if they know they won't be making money with the product. You can just go to your favorite search engine and look up the Mangosteen fruit and you will see the many imitators that are out there. They may not be as good as the Xango product, but they will make your marketing efforts more difficult if you are in the Xango business. - 17273
