The Detox Diet To Clear Out Accumulated Toxins

Detox diets can be healthy if followed for a short duration. They encourage good habits like eating more vegetables and fruits and cutting out alcohol, caffeine, tobacco, fatty foods and refined foods. Detox diets typically start with fasting followed by a strict diet of raw vegetables, fruit and fruit juices, and water. In addition, some detox diets advocate using herbal laxatives, antioxidants and enemas to clean the intestine and liver.

Fruits and vegetables have their own health benefits. Fruits are easiest to digest, and offer less fat and more fiber than other foods. Fruit juice is high in sugar, so if you are a diabetic or otherwise need to monitor your sugar intake you need to be cautious of doing a juice fast with fruit juices. The Master Cleanse involves drinking only lemonade made from fresh lemon or lime juice, maple syrup, water and Cayenne pepper. No solid food is eaten for the entire cleanse. Proponents of the The Master Cleanse say it is more gentle on the body because it contains some essential vitamins and minerals. According to proponents it is recommended to be on the cleanse for a minimum of ten days.

It will detox the liver and remove the toxin and reduce weight. A lemonade detox diet will remove unwanted toxins from the body. After that you will feel naturally rejuvenated. However the mixture of lemon juice, maple syrup, cayenne pepper and pure water does not suit everyone.

Lemon juice is an excellent source of Vitamin C and helps to support increased functionality of the bowels. Cayenne can also help to stimulate the metabolism, causing the toxins to flush through the system rather than lingering in the colon. Lemon water as been used to cleanse the body for many years.
