By Joseph Young

Many college students are working hard on multiple jobs while attending to their campus studies. These days they are keeping themselves going by drinking energy drinks as Red Bull and Amp. College students make up the major number of the consumers.

Energy drinks affect college students in a variety of ways. In a recent survey released by the Nutritional Journal, it was reported that sleep deprivation, decreased energy levels, and mental alertness were improved in college students who consumed 1 or more energy drinks per month.

Some opportunities are not good ones. Take mixing energy drinks with alcohol for example. It is like riding the break pad and accelerator on your car at the same time. But many are doing it not realizing what is happening to their bodies. Maybe with some education caution can be taken.

So, what are your patterns? No one knows them like you. Tracking your energy drink patterns will help you stay away from the over consumption of caffeine and other stimulants. Over time these can have serious side effects. Please pay close attention to the ingredients in the can you drink.

So how do energy drinks affect you? Do you know how many you consume every day? You must know if you are consuming too much, right? Can't sleep, heart is racing fast, mind is scrambled. You are nervous a lot. Be careful. Read the ingredients in those cans, and understand what you are consuming.
