The EP-3222 Real Pro Elite comes with warranty coverage from Panasonic. Panasonic gives you 3 years parts and 1 year labor on this chair. This coverage is below what other manufacturers give you. Most manufacturers provide in home technician service for at least 90 days and in some cases for up to 1 year. Panasonic does allow you to purchase an extended warranty at additional cost.
An excellent feature that is integrated into the EP 3222 is known as a body scan. The body scan creates an electronic map of your back. It identifies key points like your shoulder height and width of your neck. Also, it identifies your acupressure points in your back of which there are almost 100 in all. The information is then used to give you a truly unique massage.
Panasonic has gone to great lengths to study and replicate the actual hand movements of massage therapists. The result is a floating massage mechanism to mimic the hands of a therapist. This mechanism has firm rubber massage heads. These massage heads replicate hand movements like pressing with the thumbs or the heel of the hand.
Panasonic has built into the EP 3222 an arsenal of massage treatments and options to help relieve any aches and pains you might have. There are 6 pre-programmed massages which can be activated at the touch of a button. You also have a solid variety of manual massages including Swedish, Kneading, Compression, Tapping, Shiatsu and Rolling.

The air massage system uses a compressor which delivers to 33 strategically place air bags. These air bags provide and effective and relieving compression massage throughout the lower body.
The remote control has large format buttons for each of the automatic programs. Just touch the button and the automatic massage starts which will run the entire chair. There are buttons to adjust the chair back and leg ottoman with automatic controls. You can also store or memorize certain massage programs. This is great for setting up a given massage for you that you can later recall on demand. Panasonic also includes a voice guidance system. The voice guidance system can be activated to walk you through the steps of using the remote control.
There is a lower body traction system built into the EP3222. This provides an excellent stretch of the lower body. The leg rest is designed to hold your feet, raise the leg rest and then lower it slowly. This will elongate your muscles and improve your range of motion.
