The Homeopathic HCG Diet, Day 10
I can't believe it's been 10 days. That's a week and a half. And I've made it so far. Not only have I made it, but I've lost 9 pounds.
I got up and got on the scale today and I was at 162.2. Not horrible (I didn't go up), but not great because I didn't go down either. I told myself that less than one pound of weight lost in a day was meaningless and I wouldn't mention it, but apparently I'm going to anyway. (I did go down by .6 of a pound). I checked and I didn't eat anything too horrible yesterday. I stuck to the diet.
It must be that I'm eating portions that are more than a single serving (per the HCG obesity protocol, that is). I'm going to be more careful and start measuring stuff as I eat. I think it might be all the soups I've been having. I bet I'm serving too much up for myself each time. I'll watch it from now on. And just in case it's not the serving size I'm also going to increase my water. Why not, right?
I decided that I don't like my original idea of carting the huge cups of water around with me. I've spilled a few and since they're HUGE they make a huge mess. So far I've had to sop up large amounts of water from the living room carpet, a stack of books in my son's room and the laundry room floor. That's just annoying so I'm switching to water bottles.
So I've been carting around a water bottle. I did take my HCG morning, noon and night. I took my B-Total Sublingual before lunch. (I usually take it in the morning, but I was having a lazy morning so I waited for my energy boost until I was actually going to get up and about for the day). For lunch I had leftover soup (an appropriate portion).
My daughter had a friend come over to spend the night and even though I told myself it wouldn't cause a hiccup in the HCG obesity protocol...it eventually did. I started off well with grilled chicken and asparagus for dinner. I was going to have some strawberries or an apple later that night because we were going to watch a movie and I thought that would keep me from reaching for the popcorn. But then a funny thing happened. The girls wanted to make cookies instead of watch a movie. I thought that sounded like an appropriate sleep over activity so I got them all set up to make sugar cookies. It was a rough 2 minutes before I totally broke down and had one. What was I thinking? I did skip my fruit. Do you think that makes up for the lapse? I know...absolutely not. But at least I tried.
It wasn't the best HCG day. But I'm getting right back on track tomorrow for sure. I'm sure the HCG obesity cure can still help me out even though I messed up and probably won't lose any weight tomorrow. I have to say that the sugar cookies didn't taste near as good when I knew I wasn't supposed to have them! - 17273
