What Can I Expect With the Michael Thurmond Weight Loss Program?

Maybe you haven't heard of the Michael Thurmond weight loss plan before. It's important that you take the time to do proper research on different programs before you set your mind on one. Michael Thurmond claims that his plan will make you lose up to 30 pounds within 6 weeks. It's also called the 6 week makeover plan. Before you believe anything, you should know what it's exactly about and if it's what you're looking for.

You Have a Unique Metabolism

The Michael Thurmond program is better known as the 6 week body makeover plan. He explains that each one of us has a unique metabolism which reacts differently to specific foods. The program helps you to determine how your metabolism works and by doing so you learn which foods will trigger your body to burn fat. I.E., for most people peanuts might be an ideal snack to encourage the body to burn fat faster, but your body might react differently to peanuts and slows your metabolism down.

Targeting Only Your Problem Areas

Focusing on the problem areas when you exercise is the basis of Michael Thurmond's workout plan. You as dieter should establish which areas need attention. It's those areas of your body you don't feel comfortable with when walking in a bathing suit. You then receive an exact set of exercises that will target those areas you've pointed out. Michael Thurmond believes that you only need 35 to 40 minutes of workout per week. Professional fitness trainers will probably disagree with his claim. Trainers believe that you need a complete workout at least 3 times per week.

The Eat More Theory

I don't recommend any program that focuses on keeping food locked away. Quick fix and fad diets do work but only for a few days. The Michael Thurmond weight loss program encourages you to eat healthy food and the right time. It doesn't expect you to starve yourself day in and day out. However you still need a lot of discipline. You start the fat burning process when you eat small portions of food at regular intervals every day.

What is the Conclusion?

It is clear that Michael Thurmond believes in eating certain foods that fits your metabolism. He also believes in targeting those problem areas which you're unhappy with. I have faith in his diet plan and believe in eating small portions of food of up to 6 times per day. I don't necessarily believe that training for only 35 minutes per week will give you a new body. The body needs a complete workout before even your problems areas will start to change. You need to be focused when you set your mind on the Michael Thurmond weight loss program.
