Bowflex Revolution Is One Great Machine

By Hank Smith

If you require a gym that fits into your home and that can do anything you need, then the Bowflex revolution is the product you need. It has over 400 variations of exercises that workout every major area of your body. It also features a rowing machine that is excellent for cardio workout.

If you go to a local gym, you will not find a single machine that gives you the possibilities as the revolution. The bowflex was designed with Spiraflex technology. This technology is used by astronauts on the international space station. What this does for you is it gives you the same resistance as traditional iron plates but rather than being heavy is light through the use of elastic bands and plastic.

The Spiraflex gives you twice the amount of benefits you get with free weight exercises. You gain total control of your workout. Most athletes and weight trainers prefer linear resistance rather than the progressive resistance in the Power Rod System. This is one of the main features of the Bowflex revolution.

With a maximum weight of 300 lbs on the upper body and 600 lb on the lower body, the revolution is no toy. Bowflex even designed a Free Arm that can be moved by 170 degrees to ensure that you work your muscles in which ever angle you prefer. Bowflex even packed the revolution with a leg press station and preacher curl attachment so you don't miss out on any type of workout.

If you want to do cardio workouts, the bowflex features a rowing machine. Compared to the Bowflex power rod gyms, this system is smoother with better resistance. Overall a far more advanced workout machine and is reflected by the high rates it got by Men's Health.

There is one downside with the revolution xp though. The price for a scaled down version is $2299 which is pretty hefty. When you compare this price to a full universal gym though, the price becomes fair. The bowflex offers what no other single product offers but a combination of different products which total far more in price.

Overall the bowflex revolution is a great machine in the amount of exercises you can do as well as the technology in it. It is constructed with high quality material and features a 10 year warranty. It is light and compact unlike other universal machines, and with a linear resistance is preferred by many athletes and weight trainers. Though the bowflex revolution lacks a lat tower, overall if you need a gym exercise squeezed into one machine, the revolution is the one for you. - 17273
