Build Abs in the Kitchen

Have you heard the saying "abs are built in the kitchen"? Did you know that is a true statement? Many people spend countless months on intense abdominal workouts in the attempt to build that sexy six pack. However, people fail to realize that what you prepare in the kitchen and feed yourself play a very important role in getting those sexy abs.

Many people do have very strong abdominals, however, not nearly as many people actually get to see them. Mainly because of the layer of fat covering the muscles. In order to see the sexy six pack the layer of fat must be removed. People can spend countless hours working out and putting their bodies through intense exercise routines, but if they have bad nutrition they are just about waisting their time.

To be fair, exercises for the abdominals will somewhat contribute to calorie burning, but there is not enough of that calorie burn to remove significant fat from the stomach area. Therefore, people need to start focusing more on what they do in the kitchen so they can get optimal results and start to see those abdominal muscles defined.

Ususally, it will take about 90 days of clean and healthy eating to get the results they are looking for. Beyond 90 days, you will start to see definition in your abdominal area and will attribute the effects of healthy eating. To know what to eat in terms of acheiving abdominal definition be sure and check out the following pointers:

-- No more Junk Food. Whether you love deep-fried or processed foods, cutting them out of you diet can be a good first step in the correct direction.

-- Have the Right Nutrient Ratio. Balancing the nutrients that your body needs is an essential part of the diet if your goal is to experience significant fat loss in the stomach area.

-- Consume the Right Amount of Calories. It is important to note that eating either less or more than required calories might certainly produce the same bad result. Therefore try to balance it as best as possible.

-- Timing. Time your meals out wisely, splitting them up in you day into 5 or 6 meals every 2 to 3 hours. This allows maximum burn capabilities of your body, contributing to fat loss.

-- Avoid bad nutrition. Avoid excessive sugars, processed foods, saturated fats and alcohol. They serve no purpose to your body.
