4 Cons Of High Carbohydrate Dieting And Losing Arm Flab

By Katherine Crawford M.S.

Figuring the right nutritional approach for losing arm flab can be like finding a needle in a haystack. How so? Because with all the marketing campaigns out there the truth has been hidden amongst all the falsehoods.

Have you been having a hard time finding a nutritional strategy that works???

If so, many other women are feeling your pain. I believe that proper nutrition for getting toned arms has become very confusing. Not too long ago, I was very confused myself.

So here are 4 reasons why you shouldn't go on a high carb diet for arm flab loss:

1. Sugar addiction danger. If you have a sugar addiction, a high carb diet can be a slippery slope towards sugar bingeing. After all, most high carb foods have sugar in them. And once you open the floodgates, it can be very hard to stop.

2. Can increase insulin resistance. The research has shown time and again that those with insulin resistance do far better with lower carb diets. So if you're insulin resistant, high carb dieting is not for you.

3. Oscillating levels of hunger. If you eat a large amount of carbs you run the risk of taking your blood sugar for a roller coaster ride. Why? Because carbohydrates have the biggest impact on blood sugar levels. The best way to counteract this is with an enormous vegetable intake.

4. Extremely slow fat loss. Expect very very slow fat loss when doing a high carb diet. If you're looking for lightening quick results, then this type of diet is NOT for you.

Learning how to get rid of arm flab doesn't have to be hard. If you ignore all the marketing hype and focus on what is backed by research and experience, you'll do just fine. And if you're looking for fast arm toning then choose a diet with lower amounts of carbs. This will give you the best results. - 17273
