By James Statham

So you're looking to find the best abs work out to get that six pack you've desired for so long, am I right? Well in this article, I will tell you a few of the best abs exercises around. However, you can't just expect to get a six pack with only a good workout routine. Your diet is also a key component to getting ripped. By the end of this article, you'll have gained valuable information about how you can get rock solid abs!

So what are the best abs work out? Any exercise that in highly intense, and works out many different muscles in the body is what you need to be performing. This is because if you want a visible six pack, you need to trim the layer of body fat you have covering up your abs. This is why trimming away fat is so important. Even if you had the most muscly and strong abs around, if your body fat levels are too high, you won't be able to see your abs!

However, you can't just burn fat from a specific area in an abs work out. When your body burns fat, it burns it from all over your body. Crunches are just no way near intense enough to trigger significant fat burn. What you need to do is perform compound exercises that involve lots of different muscles. This will work out all your body and burn fat a thousand times quicker than a crunch ever could!

My personal favourite abs work out consists of two compound exercises. The front squat really is intense! Similar to a back squat, but you rest the barbell under your neck rather than on your upper back. You can really feel the burn on this workout! It doesn't just work the abs, but also stresses the legs and shoulders. This results in significant fat burn because of the intensity of the workout, so long as you do between 8-12 reps with heavy weight. The next workout is the good old fashioned pull up, normal grip. Just simply grab a bar, and pull yourself up and down until you can longer perform this exercise. This is also a high intense exercise and workouts out your whole upper body as well as those abs! However, even with these two exercises, without proper diet, you won't experience worthwhile results.

Now you have knowledge of a proper abs work out, you need to improve your diet. Lowering body fat levels is crucial if you want to ever see your abs brilliantly defined. Cutting out the rubbish foods such as crisps and cakes is a must. Also, aim to eat foods that have a high protein content. Protein is considered the building blocks of gaining muscle, so is vital to make sure your getting enough protein in your diet. - 17273
