Great Dirty Trick Beats Fat Loss Plateau

By geanor fremooor

I had a training partner that introduced me to beating the plateau effect. He always snuck extra weight on the bar. Example, when I choose to do 200 lbs for 10 reps he would put an extra 10 pounds or so without me knowing. Crazy thing is I would end up doing it just as easy as if it was 200 lbs. The main point to this dirty trick is my partner knew I had more strength then I let myself think. If you plan on doing this at home make sure there is a spotter accompanying you.

How would you benefit from this? In 2 ways

1. Change the way you think (mindset) and your self image (what you think about yourself)

If you are stuck at a plateau in your workout and arent seeing the results you want and keep putting yourself down telling yourself that you are meant to be fat, youre never going to win and beat it.

Instead of doing that tell yourself that you are meant to lose the fat and build the muscle. Believe it when you say it so its in your head. Picture buying a bunch of clothes for your new, hot body or going to the beach and not being embarrassed to take your shirt off or put a bathing suit on.

Heres a good mindset for fat loss!

Eating yesterday went pretty good. I resisted a plate of fries and didnt even try to order a burger I usually get. I used the mindset change and I am overall a healthy person. Being healthy doesnt involve eating greasy beef burgers and fries.

So eat a turkey burger/sandwich instead. Its low in fat and high in protein. Have a strong, positive thinking mentality and you will be on the road to your success.

2. Go and break a new record every time in the gym for each workout.

Your body will not change if you arent improving and arent putting more weight on each time. My friends dirty trick made sure I was doing more every time in each work out, and doing that made sure I was always making a gain.

So about your fat loss workout, pick an area that you can/want to improve on in each workout. Whether its just one more repetition, quicker intervals or 5-10 pounds added in your workout. Break a new record every time and youll easily beat the plateau effect. Train hard for performance, the fat burning and muscle building will follow. - 17273
