If you are keeping your calorie intake within a normal range, you can count on losing about one pound per week while breastfeeding. When you breastfeed it is important to maintain a healthy diet. Because you are breastfeeding, this is not just important for your weight loss struggle. With healthy eating and breastfeeding, you can expect to see a loss of one to two pounds per week. Water and dairy products are essential to achieving significant weight reduction.
